This is from the Introduction:

Paul’s letter to Titus, together with 1 and 2 Timothy, form what are commonly known as the Pastoral Epistles. First called “Pastoral” in the eighteenth century, they were given this label because they emphasize pastoring responsibilities. However, it might be more accurate to call them the Leadership Epistles, because leadership is addressed here on many fronts: personal, parental, spousal, generational, pastoral, evangelistic and apostolic. Much more could be written about the Epistle to Titus than space will afford in these pages; with all the emphasis on the believer’s walk, the practical applications might easily fill a large volume. This set of Notes on Titus will be limited to a more fundamental treatment of the issues concerned and will attempt to point out any dispensational characteristics present.
