This study covers aspects of all the divine covenants. This includes the prototypical relationship with Adam after the Fall, through the formal covenants with Noah, Abraham, Moses and David. Throughout these ages there remined the need for a New Covenant that man could keep despite the weakness of his sin nature. Such a covenant required a better sacrifice than any that had been offered before – the sacrifice “once for all” of the Son of God.
